Q: What time does your course start and finish?
A: Our course starts at 8:30am and finishes around 12:30pm.
Q:Are you open everyday?
A:No, we are closed on Sundays, over Christmas and Songkran and also on ad-hoc occasions from time to time.
Q: How far in advance do I need to book?
A: To avoid disappointment we strongly advise you to book at least 1 week, if not 2 weeks in advance.
Q: Do you run morning and afternoon sessions?
A: We normally only run morning sessions, however if you have a group of 12 people we can try to accommodate you in the afternoon - on a request basis only.
Q: What do I do if I am running late or cannot attend?
A: If you are running late – please call Khun Poo on 0876863714 (only from 9:00am - 4:00pm). If you cannot attend, please do all possible to give us as much notice as possible so that we can allocate your booking to someone else. Please either email us at or call the booking coordinator at 0804348686. If it is within 24 hours of the class please call Khun Poo on her mobile.
Q: Where can I see your menus?
A: You can view our menus on cookingwithpoo.com under the Cooking Classes Tab.
Q: Can I select my menu of choice?
A: No, we have pre-set menus which change every day. However, if you pre-book for 10 people, then you may choose your preferred day's menu by simply emailing us directly with your preference.
Q: Can I request a special menu?
A: Yes you can, however you need to book for 10 people so that we can ensure all customers are happy with your ‘special menu request’.
Please also note that the cost may vary depending on the ingredients and dishes requested. This would be confirmed at the time of booking
Q:What if I am vegetarian?
A: No problem at all, please email us to advise us and also let Khun Poo know on the day and we will substitute all meat dishes with tofu and extra vegetables.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
Q: How much is the course?
A: The cost per person is 1,500 baht per person
Q: Is this price all inclusive?
A: Yes, this includes return pick up (central location), tour of the ‘wet markets’ and the class, including all ingredients.
Q: Do you offer discounts?
A: No, we already offer a very reasonable price and operate as a fair-trade enterprise, so do not discount our price.
Q: How do we pay?
A: Please pay online when booking.
Q: Can our children come and do they need to pay?
A: Children can certainly attend, however need to be 7 yrs + to cook and use the stove. If a child is cooking, then yes they too pay the full adult price If they just come along to watch, they are free of charge but must be supervised by their parents at all times.
Q: How can we find you?
A: We have a central pick-up location. We pick up from outside the entrance to Emporium Suites hotel (central Sukhumvit). The hotel is next to Phrom Phong BTS, take BTS Exit 2 to the street level (Sukhumvit Road) and follow the front of the Emporium Shopping Mall around to the right. You will see a sign for Emporium Suites and we will wait for you under the awning.
Q: Can we meet you at the market instead?
A: No, it is a busy, bustling market and we start at different points every day. It would simply be too difficult to find everyone there.
